The cost of replacing your old countertops depends on the material you want installed. High-quality engineered stone such as quartz or natural stone like quartzite or marble will be more expensive. Granite is typically less expensive. With several different materials from leading brands, we can help you find the right fit for your budget.
JCS Marble & Granite's countertop installation service includes: a free design consultation; your choice of surface material, standard edge style, slab viewing, a professional measure/template; as well as fabrication and installation.
Yes, we can customize the size and shape of the countertops to fit your specific needs and preferences.
A free consultation is the first step in the countertop installation or countertop replacement process. Your free consultation will take place either at your home or our showroom located on Rt 6 in the Stony Hill Section of Bethel Ct. An Average consultation will last about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
During your consultation, a JCS specialist will ask you about your goals, budget and timing for your countertop project, identify your best product and installation options and answer any questions you have. You'll receive a project quote within 1 business day.
The installation time will vary depending on the size of your kitchen and the type of countertop you choose. On average, the installation process takes 1-5 business days to complete.
The biggest difference is that quartz countertops are made from manufactured stone while granite countertops are made from natural stone. Therefore, a granite countertop will have variations in color because no two stones are alike. On the other hand, since quartz countertops are made with ground quartz, resins, and other additives, they have a more consistent color. Another difference is that sealing is highly recommended for granite but not needed for quartz. Ultimately, both provide lasting value but different looks.
How long your countertops will last depends on your lifestyle and the type of countertop material you choose. Our kitchen design specialists will help you choose the right countertop to fit your lifestyle.
